Aryana foot-ball team with Indian selected team at the Independence celebration day of Afghanistan, 1946. From that day many teams and football clubs came to Kabul for playing matches in the National Independence celebra-tion days of Afghanistan, and this club successfully played all the matches and won all of them. In 1946 the captain of this club S. Mohammad Faruq Siraj (who remained as a captain of this team for years) resigned from the captainship and the committee of this club acce- epted his resignation, new captain appointed named Mohd Ibrahim Girzai after one year this captain also resigned from the captaincy owing to his sickness. But at the time when in 1947-1948 the National 01 ympic. Federation of Afghanistan asked the players to come in Kabul, and to compete for the selection of players. In this selection 13 players
