جناب میرزا حبیب الله خان (قوم وردك) مستوفی الممالك عصر سلطنت اعلیحضرت امیر شیر علی خان مرحوم یکی از نویسندگان برجسته و مشهور آنعصر که در صفت نویسندگی و سیاست مملکت داری شخص لایقی بود چنانچه حضرت علامه استاد محمود بیگ خان طرزی تصویر او را در سراج الاخبار افغانی بنام یادگار های تاریخی درج کرده اند (متعلق صفحه ٤٠ رساله دیوان اعلى)
