At last I decided to seek help from the Waziris whose pride in Islam and Afghanistan was touched and who were ready to support me and emancipate Afghanistan. The Waziris accepted my invitation and they presented themselves before me. The British Government became more rough towards me in this connection. They brought considerable pressure upon Haji Mirza Mahammad Akbar Khan in order to force me to send away back the Waziris from Jaji to Waziristan.
