اسم تفضیل به سه قسم مستعمل است
(۱) مضاف
و درینصورت افراد و مطابقت آن با
موصوف هرد و وجه رو است
چون زیدان افضل (افضلا) القوم
(۲) معرفه بلام ـ و درینصورت مطابقت
واجبست چون زيد الافضل
هند الفضلیٰ
(۳) همراه من
و درینصورت همیشه مفرد مذکر مستعمل میشود
چون زَیدُ اَفضَلُ مِن عَمرو
هند افضل من زینب
