to this day their Jirga system.
Amanullah Khan formed the
Council of State and the Repre-
sentatives of the Nation used
to be present at the centre of
the Government; but that
Council or jirga of Afghanistan
did not prove to be advantage-
ous.

ings may not occur again in
Afghanistan and that He may
