وطن عزیز ماحامل معدنیات قیمتداریست که خیلی کم
از آنها بظهور پیوسته است
(۱) طلا
طلا از جویهای لغمان قدری پیدا میشود و نیز در مواضع
متصلهٔ آن و در دیگر اضلاع افغانستان مواد زر فراوان است
یک کان طلا در قندهار است
(۲) نقره
در زمانهٔ قدیم نقره از سروادی پنجشیر مصنوع میشد.
در بعض حصه های هندوکش اسباب خام سیم بافراط موجود است
وقناطیر المقنطرة من الذهب والفضة .
