۸ مستثنی
(۵۱) مستثنی بر دو قسم است (۱) متصل
(۲) منقطع مستثنای متصل آن است که
بعد الا و اخوات آن مذکور و از ماقبل اخراج
شده باشد چون جَاءَ نِي الْقَوْمُ اِلَّا زَيْدًا
منقطع آنست که بعد الا یا اخوات آن
مذکور باشد. ولی از ماقبل مخرج نباشد.
چون جَاءَنِي الْقَوْمُ اِلَّا حِمَارًا
(۵۲) مستثنای منقطع منصوبست چنانکه
از مثال فوق ظاهر گردید -
