من برای چند معنی مستعمل است
(۱) ابتدا سرت من البصرة الى الكوفة
(۲) تبیین فاجتنبوا الرجس من الاوثان
(۳) تبعیض اخذت من الدراهم
(۴) زائد ما جاءنی من احد
الیٰ انتهای غایت مانند مثال فوق
(۲) بمعنی مع فاغسلوا وجوهكم
وایدیکم الی المرافق
حتیٰ مانند الیٰ است
نمت البارحة حتی الصباح
قدم الحاج حتى المشاة
