آن خرقهٔ مقدس پاك این زمان کجاست
پرسی کجا بگوی که در قندهار ماست
اینست فضل ثانی این شهر بی نظیر
قدسیتش قیاس کن ای ذات خوش ضمیر
در این ولایتست اراضی پر شرف
انهار بس بزرك در ان جاری هر طرف
[ ارغند آب ] نهر جسیمیست و تیز رو
اطراف آن ربوده ز فردوس صد گرو
نهر دگر که سیر سفاین در و شود
[ هیرمند ] نام او و به صحرا همیرود
