When then this trouble\nhad first fieared up, Kamran, had sought help from his uncle, who\nwas the governor of Herat-one named Haji Firouzuddin-as the result\nthereof two thousand horsemen, under the leadership of Malik Qas-\nim arrived for the help of the nephew of the governor of Herat, to\nKandahar. Kamran found a force of his own at Kandahar amounting\nto three thousand horsemen. With this five thousand horsemen he\nmoved to Arghistan. The strength of Kamran's troops motified Shah\nshuja; and converged his movements from Arghanistan towards the\nareas of the Ghizais and the Kakars.
