{"book":"adl1182","page":117,"text":"(۹۲)\n\nکه بجنوب آن باید «پکتیین» یعنی خاك «پکتیها» را جستجو کرد کوهی موسوم به «پرسوتی Persuetes» جدا میکند.\n\nهر دوت پکتیس ها وخاك مسكونه والسه وعزف وعادات وبعضی شهر ها ورؤسای آنها را خوب میشناخته وباوجوديكه معلومات او خیلی کم، و بیش از چند جمله ئی نیست معذالك جملات او هر كدام بجای خود بسیار مهم واز آن بعضی نظریه های اساسی بدست می آید. درباب لباس و اسلحه آنها می نویسد : «پکتیس ها Paetyces لباسی داشتند از پوست و تیر و كمان آنها به شكل و نمونه محلی خودشان بود. رئیس ایشان ارتینت Artynte پسر ایتها متر Ithamatere نام داشت.»\n\nنقطه مهمی که از یادداشت های هر دوت بدست می آید تشابه عرف وعادات پکتیس ها با باختری ها است که بذات خود از مسائل مسلمه است و شهادت صریح مورخ معروف یونانی هم آنرا تائید میکند زیرا میگوید که باشندگان حوالی شهر كسپاتير Caspatyre (کابل) واهالی سرزمین «پكتيك» يا «پشتيخا» از روی عرف وعادات با باختری ها شباهت زیاد داشتند .
