{"book":"adl0967","page":797,"text":"(٢٢٦)\n\nکتیبه دیگری که تاریخ آن ٢٨ ماه دیزیوس Daisios سال ١١ میباشد از مقام (سوی و هار Sui-whar) (ملتان) نزديك «وها والپور » از کنار رود خانه ستلج که از معاونین رود چناب میباشد به نفوذ و آمریت کنیشکا شهادت میدهد همین طور کتیبه دیگری در مقام سیت مهت Sahet Mahet (کراواستی قدیم) پیداشده که به سال ١٢ سنه دارد. از روی این کتیبه‌ها و مسکو کات زیادی که در خاك هند تا «غازی پور» بدست آمده بوضاحت معلوم میشود که نفوذ دولت کوشان در عصر کنیشکادر خاك‌های هندخوب انبساط یافته و بصورت یقین تا کنار رود کنگا رسیده بود. قراریکه از روایات برمی‌آیدشهر «پتالی پوترا » (پتنه حالیه) مرکز قدیم امپراطوری موریای هندی هم بدست سلطان مقتدر کوشانی فتح شد کنیشکا ازین شهر بزرگترین نویسنده سانسکریت وقت را که «اسوه کوشا» نام داشت با خود گرفت و در دربار خود نگه میداشت. چنین می نماید که کنیشکا اراضی مفتوحه خویش یعنی تمام غرب هند را توسط نایب الحکومه‌هائی اداره نموده باشد که بسانسکریت ایشان رابه القاب «کشاترایه» یعنی حکمران و «مها کشاترایه» یعنی حکمران بزرگ میخواندند و در ماخذ هندی بیشتر بعنوان امرای اسکانی شهرت دارند (١) معروفترین این حکمرانان «نهاپانه» «چستانه» و غیره است بعضی از ین حکمرانان مخصوصاً «چستانه» یا «کوهستانه» را منابع هندی موسس دودمان شاهی میداند که اعضای آن تا حوالی اخیر قرن چهارم در (اوجن) امارت کرده اند و ظهور خاندان گوپتا به نفوذ ایشان خاتمه داده است.
