{"book":"adl0967","page":1324,"text":"( 110 )\nنسب طاهر :\nپدر طاهر مؤسس سلسله طاهریان حسین نام داشت . در موضوع نسب او اقوال\nمختلف ذكر شده كه ثقه ترین آنها طاهر بن حسین بن مصعب بن زریق بن\nماهان است . مطابق روایات مورخین و نویسندگان . کسیكه قبل از طاهر\nاز خانواده او اشتهار زیاد حاصل كرده بود مصعب بن زریق است كه در فن\nكتابت مهارت بسزا داشته وعلاوه بر آن در فضل وادب وبلاغت مقام ارجمند\nرا احراز كرده بود . مصعب د ر زمان خلفای عباسی د ر خدمت یكی از\nبزرگان ومتنفذین بنام سلیمان بن كثیر خزاعی بشغل كتابت اشتغال\nداشته و بعداً مدتی هم به حكومت هوشنج یافوشنج یا پوشنگ هرات\nمنصوب گردیده بود.\nحسین بن مصعب یعنی پدر طاهر هم كه در آن ایام شهرت زیاد داشت و\nیكی از نجیب زاده گان هرات وصاحب نفوذ واقتدار بود ، در نظر عباسیان\nمورد احترام واقع گردیده در سنه ١٨٠ هجری به حكومت پوشنگ هرات\nمقرر گردید وتاسنه ١٩١ هجری كه علی بن عیسی حكمران بلخ وخراسان\nنسبت بوی مظنون شده در پی قتلش افتاد به این و ظیفه اشتغال داشت . ولی\nدرین موقع وضعیت خود را به نسبت مخالفت علی بن عیسی در خطر دیده خود را\nبه دربار هارون الرشید كه ازوی به نسبت رسوخ واعتبارش در بین قوم احترام زیاد\nمینمود رسانیده مورد تلطف و مهربانی واقع شد و بالاخره در سنه ١٩٩ و فات\nیافت در تشییع جنازه او خلیفه عباسی شخصاً حاضر بود.
